Poverty is expensive: buying in bulk

After my last post, two people sent me US$50 and US$40. Thank you.

I must pay rent, buy some medicine, and buy food. I have a coupon for groceries that gives me MXN$300 (US$[convert number=300 from=”mxn” to=”usd”]) off if I spend at least MXN$1500 (US$[convert number=1500 from=”mxn” to=”usd”]). But, I don’t have quite enough money to use it. Plus, it expires today.

If I had only US$25 more, then I could afford this. This is another example of how poverty is expensive: if I don’t have enough cash, I can’t afford to save money with this deal.
