Whenever possible, I try to do business with my friends; and I am lucky that I have lots of talented and capable friends. When I need to buy services and I don't already know someone, then I often ask my friends who they use.
I decided to build on this idea and put together a list of my friends that have businesses. I am also including my friends' resumes and artistic pursuits.
Are these people really my friends? Yes, I know all of them socially. While this is a sort of advertising, its primary purpose is to help my friends locate a professional that they feel they are likely to trust.
What are the conditions to be on this page? First, you have to be my friend. Second, you have to be on the friends-of-Hunter email list.
What is the friends-of-Hunter email list? When I add someone to this page, then I will send an email announcing it. Only I can send the emails; no one else will have your email address.
I don't think anyone is going to get rich from this. I just want a way for my friends to get services or to hire my other friends.

This summer, Becky will be tutoring reading for ages 5-10.
This next fall, Becky plans to open a small homeschool on her ranch in Elgin. She will teach 8 children maximum. She has 18 years of experience teaching and tutoring primary students with a specialty in gifted education. The school is open to everyone and will not be religion based. Her school will offer hands-on, experiential and literature-based curriculum and seek to meet the needs of individual learners. And all students will take horseback riding lessons, of course!
